He wrote the song for the movie 'Act of Valor' and was honored with a nomination for a 'Critics' Choice Movie Award'

Keith Urban has picked up a nomination for the 18th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards, for the song "For You," which he wrote for the movie Act of Valor. Keith says when he was asked to write something for the film about Navy Seals, he had a hard time coming up with a concept.
Keith Urban says that Nicole encouraged him to write a song for the movie.
"I was really moved by the film. I wanted to write something and I just couldn't think of an angle and a place and so on. And I really have to thank Nic for really saying to me, 'You should do this, you really should. I really think you'll be able to do this if you just commit to it. She really kind of gently suggested that I do it."
