Several celebrity friends came through for Tracy Lawrence last week to help save the seventh annual Mission Possible Turkey Fry, which went on without a hitch today (Tuesday) at the Nashville Rescue Mission.
“I think the initial turkey drive that they had was a little underwhelming for them. They didn’t get as many as they thought. But they’ve since had a plethora brought in. The guy that invited Crocs, a very wealthy man, made something a $20,000 donation to buy turkeys. So yeah, we made out really good,” said Tracy.
Keith Anderson, Trent Tomlinson, Tennessee Titan Rob Bironas and the Titans Cheerleaders were among the volunteers manning the fryers to cook more than 500 birds for the homeless in Middle Tennessee.
