Kenny Chesney announced the 17 stadium dates for the 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour this morning (Thursday) on NoShoesRadio.com.

The trek kicks off on March 16th in Tampa, Florida with openers Eric Church, Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves. Zac Brown Band will sub for Eric in Atlanta, Minneapolis and Columbia, South Carolina. The tour wraps for a third consecutive year at Foxboro, Massachusetts’s Gillette Stadium on August 24th.

Kenny Chesney talks explains how he came up with the tour name, saying, “I’ve been looking for ways to give my fan base a name and for everybody that’s bought a record and the people that have been coming to shows for awhile, but everybody has built No Shoes Nation. And that’s what we’re calling it because it is. It’s very special, and it’s a village of people that we have touring down the road. And but it’s really the fans. It’s the people that have given all of us a really wonderful, unique life.”
