Congrats to new parents Jake Owen and wife Lacey Buchanan on the birth of their first child, a girl they named Olive Pearl Owen. She was born Thursday weighing six pounds, three ounces. The happy parents say their daughter will go by her middle name, Pearl, after Jake's godmother, who passed away in July.
Proud dad Jake said, "Lacey and I are so excited to start our own family. We are looking forward to teaching Pearl everything we learned from our parents and also learning from her."

Looks like marriage is in the works for Kelly Clarkson and boyfriend Brandon Blackstock. Appearing on Tuesday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kelly said she’s not engaged to her artist manager boyfriend, who manages Blake Shelton and is Reba McEntire’s stepson. But they are looking to get hitched.
Kelly told Ellen, “We are totally going to get married. We love each other. We are totally going to get married one day … I mean, he’s got to put a ring on at some point.”

Thousands of fans flooded the streets of downtown Tishomingo, Oklahoma for the Black Friday grand opening of Miranda Lambert’s new boutique the Pink Pistol. Miranda dubbed the event Pink Friday and encouraged fans to help turn the whole town pink for the store’s opening, which included the inaugural Pink Pistol Princess Pageant.
After the event, Miranda tweeted: “Pink Friday was so amazing! Thanks Tishomingo for making my dream come true! And thanks to everyone that came! See you next year!”
Hubby Blake Shelton was also at the event.
Scotty McCreery has been added to the Christmas In Rockefeller Center holiday concert special, airing Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The show will also include performances by Trace Adkins, Cee Lo Green, Rod Stewart, Chris Mann, Mariah Carey, Victoria Justice and Il Volo.

Charlie Sheen has a new pet charity -- Lindsay Lohan.
The actor reportedly sent Linds a $100,000 check to help her pay back taxes. TMZ says the two troubled stars bonded on the set of Scary Movie 5 in September. Charlie offered to give her some cash back then, but Lindsay refused. Then last week her business manager received the six-figure check from Charlie. Lindsay owes about $234,00 in unpaid taxes for 2009 and 2010.
Charlie Sheen reportedly gave Lindsay Lohan $100,000 to cover her tax debt. Luckily for Lindsay, Charlie doesn't have a history of expecting certain favors from women after giving them money.
At six-foot-one and 230 pounds, Toby Keith’s son Stelen Keith Covel has landed a spot on the U.S. team in the 2013 Eastbay Youth All-American Bowl. Stelen is starting as a defensive lineman against a team picked from the Canadian All-Stars, and he’ll line up alongside three other players from the Oklahoma City area. The Big Dog Daddy will more than likely be on the sidelines cheering on his son as he doesn’t have a tour date scheduled on game day. The Youth Bowl precedes the U.S. Army All-American Game, and both will be held at San Antonio's Alamodome on January 6th.
It's going to be a Big Apple Thanksgiving for Trace Adkins -- he'll be in the 86th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Trace will perform his single “Just Fishin’” on the new float Stirrin’ Up Sweet Sensations for Domino Sugar. In celebration of holiday baking, the rig features a 26-foot centerpiece of a giant cookie dough bowl. Newcomer Jennette McCurdy will also be in the parade. The parade airs on Thanksgiving day at on NBC.
The Chew will go country on Tuesday’s episode with guests Zac Brown Band and Billy Ray Cyrus. All next week, the show will spotlight Thanksgiving menu items with turkey preparations, as well as recipes for side dishes and desserts.
Craig Morgan and Jack Daniels have partnered to launch the Operation Ride Home campaign to help service members and their families travel home for the holidays. A 10-year Army veteran, Craig will serve as the campaign’s spokesperson. Craig says, “I know that empty feeling in your gut when you want to travel from your base home for the holidays but just don’t have the money to do it. There are so many of these heroes who have served multiple deployments and haven’t seen their families in years. Our nation’s military does a wonderful job getting them back to their bases, but it’s not home.” The initiative offers $300 travel vouchers per family and pre-paid debit cards of $100 for each service member traveling by car. Jack Daniels has committed to donate more than $100,000 to the campaign, and you can pitch in at JDOperationRideHome.com. Last year’s effort helped send 721 Fort Campbell soldiers home for the holidays.
This is shaping up to be a great month for Vice President Joe Biden. Tuesday he secured himself another four years in the White House, and next week he'll make his acting debut on NBC's Parks and Recreation. The veep will play himself in the November 15th episode, in which Amy Poehler's local councilwoman Leslie Knope has a surprise meeting with Joe in Washington D.C.
Dancing With the Stars co-host Brooke Burke reveals in an online video that she's been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Brooke says she's scheduled to have to have thyroid surgery and insists that she's "going to make a positive out of this negative thing."

Scotty McCreery stars in two new commercials promoting the fried-chicken chain Bojangles. Scotty reworked his hit “Water Tower Town” in one 30-second spot, while in another, he plugs the Big Bo Box, which holds “chicken, biscuits, fixin’s and tea.”
Bojangles locations will also carry free download cards offering songs from Christmas With Scotty McCreery: “First Noel,” “Jingle Bells” or “O Holy Night.”
The ads will run in select Bojangles markets across 10 states.
Jason Aldean has issued a statement after being photographed with American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr.

Dierks Bentley is now a plane owner! Dierks picked up his new Cirrus SR22T Xi last week at a Duluth, Minnesota facility where he met with the staffers who customized the new ride for his specific needs. Cirrus’ executive director told the Duluth News Tribune, “We are grateful for each of our customers, and that Dierks is also a country music star is an added bonus.”
On a break from filming The Voice, Blake Shelton spent Saturday in Dallas where he braved a rain-soaked set to help raise more than $1.2 million for the American Cancer Society. Blake performed solo as the grounds were too muddy to accommodate his band’s equipment.
Blake joked apologetically, “I don’t know how to play a lot of my songs. So, y’all are gonna drink and act like you like it and I’m gonna play guitar and act like I’m good at it.”
Dolly Parton won't be building a theme park in Nashville after all. The venture, which was to include a partnership with the Opryland Hotel, went south when shareholders for the hotel voted to turn over its day-to-day operations to a third party.
Lindsay Lohan was allegedly assaulted early this morning (Sunday) in her New York City hotel room by a man she met at a nightclub, TMZ reports.
Lindsay claims that she and Christian LaBella got into an argument after she noticed her had taken photos of her on his phone. After she confronted him about the pics, Christian allegedly threw her on the bed. Lindsay then ran out of the room. But when she returned, the man allegedly choked her, threw her to the ground and climbed on top of her. One of her friends was able to pull the man off Lindsay, who then pulled the fire alarm to signal for help. Christian was arrested on two misdemeanor counts of assault and two charges of harassment.
UPDATE: The charges against Christian LaBella have been dropped. Police officials say the charges could not be substantiated so the arrest will be voided. Lindsay's rep, Steve Honig, told the AP, "We think it's both distressing and outrageous. Lindsay was assaulted and there needs to be a consequence for that."
Anne Hathaway wed Adam Shulman Saturday night in Big Sur on the California coast. The guest list wasn't star-studded. A source tells People magazine, "It was just friends and family. No movie stars. There were only a few people in the business there, like her stunt double." Anne wore a Valentino custom gown.
