Clear Channel Radio – Hartford CT is looking for a Dynamic leader who will lead, coach andManage sales teams to achieve budgeted revenue goals for our cluster through a strategic plan. . Develops, leads, measures success to strategic plan for the cluster of stations. Develops annual revenue budget for cluster to include stations and NTR . Accountable for achieving budgeted revenue goals and inventory yield goals. .Provides accurate forecast of revenue to senior management on a consistent basis. . Interacts daily with Local Sales Management and Account Executive team to oversee all aspects of the sales process • Weekly 1:1meetings with DOS and Account Executives • Monitoring daily call volume, activity, reviewing sales proposals and negotiations with clients. • Achievement of individual account executive budgets •Monitoring
receivables for collection activity . Manages Strategic Account Management system. Accompanies sellers on sales calls with clients . Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, motivates and evaluates account executive staff.. Creates annual and rolling calendar of sales organization initiatives. Develops and creates sales products and opportunities. . Conducts sales meetings on a weekly basis . Ratings analysis and creation of positioning sales pieces using data. . Supervises Sales Assistant . Maximizes technical resources within organization to achieve growth. . Sales leader of the organization within the community, which requires time commitment outside normal working hours. . Accountable for coordination with other departments within organization to include Traffic, Programming, Business Office and Engineering to achieve cluster goals.
Job Requirements:• College graduate with a minimum4-year degree • Previous sales management and leadership experience within broadcast industry • Computer skills must include proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint •Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast ratings programs. Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast traffic system. Proven experience in forecasting and achieving revenue budgets • Demonstrated success in recruiting, coaching and developing a sales team • Excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem solve; must be a solution provider
