iHeartWomen, Pretty Tough Presents: Sasha Fay of Ovelle Coffee

On Friday, March 8th, iHeartMedia presented an inspirational conversation with fearless women from across Connecticut in honor of International Women's Day. Hosted by iHeartMedia's Renee DiNino and Keynote Speaker, Connecticut Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, this two-hour special event celebrated the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and the importance of inclusion. This week, we will be featuring each of the fearless local women who spoke on the panel.

Sasha Fay, co-founder and CEO, co-founded Ovelle Coffee with the intent to bring quality alkaline coffee to Connecticut. She has experience with vendor and customer relations, and she has secured a direct trade partnership that positively impacts farmers and the local economy. Sasha believes that with her importer's license and vast experience, she can support farmers in a real way, providing a diversified market, sustainability and the ability for farmers to reinvest in farms. With this, Sasha hopes to build on her relationship and secure quality crops year after year for her community while promoting fair wages and employment opportunities.

Sasha has a BA in political science with a minor in philosophy. She is a dynamic leader in the Ovelle organization, with over 10 years of experience including marketing, operations and entrepreneurship.
