An eight-year-old California boy has become a hero by getting help to save his baby sister when he found her floating in their backyard pool.Tino Conboy was playing with his toddler sister, Cami, and when he noticed it was quiet, he looked up and didn’t see her in the house. That’s when he checked the pool and saw her floating in there.
Tino’s blood-curdling scream caught their mom Diana’sattention and she rushed to help. She got Cami out, started CPR and asked her young son to call 911. Despite being in the scary situation, the kid kept calm and dialed 911, gave the address to their house in Placerville and even told them to “get here immediately.”
Diana says Tino was so collected, adding, “I’m just so impressed with him.” The family has since had a fence put in around the pool and the gate remains locked to make sure this doesn’t happen again. “It was definitely the beginning of the worst day of my life,” the grateful mom says, “but ended with the best day of our lives.”
