We all know that Super Bowl commercials are supposed to be fun, stand out, be moving and/or shocking. Well Planters nailed it with this one. Not sure who at Planters thought THIS was a good idea! We would love to have been in THIS board meeting! Mr. Peanut has met his end, and it looks like his might have taken his Peanut-mobile with him. We are inconsolable and Planters tweeted this, "It's with heavy hearts that we confirm Mr. Peanut has passed away at 104 years old. He will be remembered as the legume who always brought people together for nutty adventures and a good time. In the ultimate selfless act, he sacrificed himself to save his friends when they needed him most. Please pay your respects with#RIPeanut." But don't stray too far from your TV. Apparently there's a "funeral" commercial too. We got nothing.
